SECTION 1 – ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY (geez, this sounds awful)

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Grandpa’s Best LLC reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

SECTION 2 – CREDIT CARDS (or maybe bitcoins someday)

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon completion of your order.

SECTION 3 – MONEY ORDERS, CASHIER’S CHECKS, COMPANY CHECKS & PERSONAL CHECKS (does anybody use this stuff anymore?)

We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in USA currency only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

SECTION 4 – ORDER SHIPPING POLICY (rules, rules, rules)

Orders received before 2:00 p.m. will ship the same day. Orders received after 5:00 p.m. will ship the next business day. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement. Please consider that shipping or transit times are estimates.

SECTION 5 – OUT OF STOCK PRODUCTS (omg say it ain’t so)

In the unlikely event that a product is out of stock, we will ship your product as it becomes available. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.

SECTION 6 – TAXES (we could write a book on this, then again, maybe we shouldn’t)

Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the state of Kansas. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.

SECTION 7 – TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS (we are also human, at times)

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Grandpa’s Best LLC shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Grandpa’s Best LLC shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Grandpa’s Best LLC shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

This site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. You acknowledge that Grandpa’s Best LLC is not responsible for the operation of or content located on or through any such site.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected, used, and shared when a visitor or customers access Grandpa’s Best LLC .

SECTION 1 – TRANSACTIONAL INFORMATION (who thinks of this stuff?)

What do you do with my information?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer Internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE (not going there)

Do you disclose my information? We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, the online store transmits your credit card data. The store data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 4 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (please, enough!)

In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

SECTION 5 – SECURITY (no joke, we take this seriously!)

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
