Bestifor Hay is a large alfalfa and grass hay producer growing hay and forages on over 5,000 acres of both dryland and irrigated land. Bestifor Hay operates late model, high capacity mowing, raking, and baling equipment allowing us to efficiently harvest and transport large volumes of hay and forage. We utilize barn storage and have a tarping program in place for outside stored hay. Hay is put up in several different bale sizes in order to best serve our diverse customer base.

Company produced hay and forage products are marketed year-round into cow/calf, feedlot, and dairy operations. Bestifor Hay manages a large alfalfa grinding operation and finished product is delivered on company owned live floor trailers. Bestifor Hay also produces high-quality native prairie hay, annually harvesting several hundred acres of pristine Kansas prairie land.

Bestifor Hay supplies its sister company, Grandpa’s Best, with the very highest end of its top quality select hay for repackaging to serve the small pet, equine, and exotic animal market.
